I know it's still early, but let's start up the talk now....who will be the last standing undefeated? Will anyone go the distance? (the game listed is their next game, unless by chance you think a bye will take down a team :)) My picks to stay undefeated at least until their next game are in bold. Toughie I think was Albany/YSU, Cal Poly/Wyoming, and Citadel/App State games.

Montana State (2-0) Vs. SFA
North Dakota (2-0) @ San Diego State (FBS)
Cal Poly (1-0) @ Wyoming (FBS)
Coastal Carolina (2-0) vs. EKU
Stony Brook (2-0) @ Syracuse (FBS)
Delaware (2-0) vs. Bucknell
James Madison (2-0) @ #9 West Virginia
Old Dominion (2-0) vs. Campbell
Illinois State (2-0) vs. Eastern Illinois
North Dakota State (2-0) vs. Prairie View A&M
Western Illinois (2-0) vs. Iowa State (FBS)
Youngstown State (2-0) vs. Albany (2-0)
Bethune-Cookman (2-0) @ Miami of Florida (the U)
Norfolk State (2-0) vs. Howard
Alabama A&M (2-0) vs. Prairie View A&M
McNeese State (2-0) @ Weber State
Sam Houston State (1-0) @ Baylor (FBS)
Georgetown (2-0) vs. Yale
Lehigh (2-0) vs. Princeton
Bucknell (1-0) @ Delaware (2-0)
Lafayette (1-0) vs. Penn
Citadel (2-0) @ App State
Samford (2-0) @ Gardner Webb
Wofford (2-0) vs. Western Carolina
Tennessee State (2-0) vs. Austin Peay
Tennessee Tech (2-0) @ #4 Oregon (FBS)
Albany (2-0) vs. YSU (2-0)

Homerism aside Lehigh probably has the best chance to make it through the regular season undefeated. With that said, I'd put those odds around 30%.

i wonder if lehigh would be good enough to get a top-2 seed if say, ndsu and stony brook for instance, are both 10-1.

I think 10-1 MIGHT land them a seed given the previous two years. 11-0 absolutely would imo.

Maybe I'd have to go with Lehigh first, then maybe Delaware?

I don't think any of the MVFC teams will run the table... NDSU, YSU, UNI, and Illinois St. are the top 4 though, in no particular order.

If NDSU beats UNI, book it.

10-0 NDSU at 10-0 Illinois State, November 17th at Hancock Stadium. College Gameday should be there.

not a seed, a top-2 seed.

in this case sbu would have only a lose to syracuse and a win over army, and ndsu would have beaten possibly 2 or 3 top 10 teams and an fbs. I'm pretty confident that lehigh would get *A* seed, i think top2 is a stretch.

Even though I'm going to the UNI game, I might try to sneak over for that one if that is the case.

+1 for Lehigh. Their remaining OOC opponents are Princeton and Columbia from the Ivy League.

FURMAN... oh you said undefeated not defeated. My guess is Wofford. with a WCU game this weekend and a Bye week that gets then at least week 4 undefeated. Week 5 they play Elon so theres a good chance there 4-0 going into week 6.

I could see Harvard running the table. Their three non-cons are at home against Holy Cross, Bucknell, and San Diego. Late road game at Penn could be the decider for them.

Holy crap would this be an awesome game if they both were undefeated. Battle for a top 2 ranking and home field throughout the playoffs....wow!! I plan on making the trip anyway.

Would it be a sellout down there?

Lehigh first has the best chance but it will end sometime in the playoffs. Harvard can repeat the undefeated Ivy season it had last year, but it has a good chance of finishing the entire season undefeated.

Ill. St wont even be close to 10-0. If they are lucky, they may finish 7-4.

George Mason* will suffer no losses this season. Among those with actual D-I FB teams, Harvard as good a shot as anyone.

*Club FB doesn't count.
