Media Days are this Wednesday and Thursday, so we're going to see plenty of articles on the SLC and the teams within it this week. Kevin Gore kicks things off by saying that the SLC is up for grabs. Gore states, "The catch is that this season there is no sure-fire winner, contender or also rans."
We're a little over a month away from the games! :)

The calendar tells me it's almost time for kickoff.
The Southland Conference's summer football kickoff is scheduled Wednesday and Thursday in Lake Charles, La.
It is there that the coaches will reveal to the media their insight on the upcoming SLC race – the winner, the contenders and the also rans.
The catch is that this season there is no sure-fire winner, contender or also rans.
If there is ever an SLC season of unpredictability, this is it.
