Not an impressive win by any means, but apparently, USD won 34-27 instead of the reported loss 20-21 to a D2 school.

Not an impressive win by any means, but apparently, USD won 34-27 instead of the reported loss 20-21 to a D2 school.I have no idea what kind of team Western New Mexico is, but they won their first game at home 54-44 over Sul Ross. Today, Sul Ross lost to Eastern New Mexico 38-35 at ENM. Apparently in New Mexico, they like offense but hate defense. At any rate, Western New Mexico has more scholarship athletes than San Diego, and it was good win for USD.

Poly, in their first game, made a lot of mistakes early last week against San Diego, but at the end, they almost scored at Will (and Sam and Mike, too). Another two weeks of practice will make them even better, and any comparison to the USD team will be and is invalid. Hopefully, Wyoming will be 0-3 late in the PM on September 15.
