Eastern Illinois quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo earned National Player of the Week honors from College Sporting News and the CFPA for his effort against Southern Illinois last week. Both Eastern Kentucky and Jacksonville State remained ranked in the national polls; EKU is 21st in the Sports Network and 25th in the Coaches poll while JSU is 24th in the Sports Network Top 25.
