Very modern, very buffalo sabres..

The new logo was unveiled today at the new Fargo Scheels superstore. This will be the Bison's secondary logo, effectively unseating the stylistic half-bison head.

Looks cool...it's modern and "in your face" but I think not overly/annoying so...plus gold and green always look so well together...

do you think sdsu could get some 'mean' looking rabbit logo.. or would that not have the same effect?.. :rolleyes: ehh, i think we'll just stick with our SD logo. haha

but, i do like the new logo. It'll look good after being beaten by the jacks this year :p

That doesn't fit the Rabbit MO. Rabbits are fast, quick, and elusive not mean. Ask ol' Bugs.xlolx :nod:

I think it will take the NDSU fans a little getting used-to, but I think it is also an improvement. I'm a bit of a traditionalist, but I like this new logo. I think it will grow on me.

The same guy did the current UNI logo.

They also intended that to be a secondary logo but they liked it so much they use it for everything now.

Maybe NDSU will too.

I think that would look sharp on a helmet. Also, the shade of yellow seems a bit more darker and rich than the current helmet color.

Looks GREAT!! I think one reason people like it so much is that it's not a DRASTIC change like some schools have done. It still is a very realistic-looking bison head and conveys power and toughness.

I think it would make a GREAT helmet logo, but the one they have now is good too. Not really a bad dillema to have if you ask me.

As an aside, I have only seen bison outside of a zoo once when I went to Montana/Wyoming for work and visited Yellowstone. They are very impressive animals. I grew up on a farm and the bulkinewss of a bison compared to cattle is amazing... (just a side note about bison)...

It's a Bison, and he don't like to be called Buffalo, that's why is is upset ;)

Its only the same because they are both Bison heads. That's like saying UNI's logo is just like Carolina's (NFL) because they are both Panthers
