View Full Version : Over/Under Countdown - Patriot League

As with the other conferences, pick the over or under (everything is with a 1/2 game on the end, so no pushes) and we'll see who gets the most right at the end of the season. Remember that playoff wins will count, not just regular season wins, so pick as you feel appropriate.

1) Bucknell - 3.5 wins
2) Colgate - 5.5 wins
3) Fordham - 2.5 wins
4) Georgetown - 7.5 wins
5) Holy Cross - 7.5 wins
6) Lafayette - 4.5 wins
7) Lehigh - 9.5 wins

Here's a link to the Over/Under Spreadsheet (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AgExSkWOQzlxdFZTN3B6ZkF0bUhKYTlDd3k4VkdNU Xc) so you can keep track of your predictions and see what others guessed as well. Remember that to be eligible to win the trophy, you have to get the most picks right from all the conferences.

Here's the link to the threads for the conferences that have already been done in case you see a conference on the spreadsheet that you didn't make picks for yet (or you can just click the hyperlink in the conference headers of the Over/Under Spreadsheet):

And here's the schedule for the rest of the countdown:

1) Bucknell - 3.5 wins UNDER Could go either way.
2) Colgate - 5.5 wins UNDER Does not look like a 6+ win team.
3) Fordham - 2.5 wins OVER Lock Haven and Columbia = 2 wins; they'd only need one more.
4) Georgetown - 7.5 wins UNDER Yale + Brown + Lehigh = 3 probable losses; would have to win all the rest for an Over.
5) Holy Cross - 7.5 wins UNDER 7 wins is possible; 8 wins is not.
6) Lafayette - 4.5 wins OVER IF this team shows up every week they will exceed 4 wins.
7) Lehigh - 9.5 wins UNDER Over would require beating everyone except Liberty.

7) Lehigh - 9.5 wins UNDER 9 seems very doable, the Liberty game will likely be the key to an undefeated OOC record. They're going to lose one conference game imo.

7) Lehigh - 9.5 wins UNDER Over would require beating everyone except Liberty.

Over would not require beating everyone except Liberty. They could go 9-2 and get a win in the playoffs. 8-3 and two wins in the playoffs. 7-4 and three playoff wins... Any combination that gets them 10.

Correct, but I don't see it happening sans Lum. Just my personal opinion.

It's a shame Spadola and Barket didn't get a chance to play against NDSU. Lehigh's offense was a lot more than just Lum. He was obviously a big part but he had a ton of toys at his disposal. Likwise with Colvin...

Don't necessarily disagree, but you could tell he was a huge leader on the offense and really drove the ship. I watched a few games other than the one in Fargo, and I was pretty impressed with how he managed that offense.

3) Fordham 2.5 wins OVER Have to assume (I know) they get 2 from Lock Haven and Columbia and get at least 1 more.

4) GTown 7.5 wins UNDER I can see 7 maybe just don't see 8 or more.

Sader87 is correct. I failed to consider the shabby OOC schedule that they allowed themselves up there in Buffalo Jump, PA. It's almost Lehigh-esque. Were I to vote again, I'd give the Jumpers an "Over," but a vote is a vote so I'll let mine stand.

Under is just not possible with Lock Haven and Columbia on the schedule, a new coach = a new attitude, and, what?, the 4th year of scholarships. I'm thinking something of a breakout year for the Rams.

After that truly baffling 1-10 season last year I would expect the Rams to AT LEAST achieve the 5-6 they posted in 2009 and 2010. Much better than that would not be a surprise with only the Cincinnati game shaping up as an unclimbable mountain.
