Lehigh announced the hiring of Justin Stovall as assistant coach in charge of linebackers. Stovall starred for the Leopards about 6 years ago and has gone on to coach at Franklin & Marshall and Villanova. Also added to the coaching staff was Vincent Giacalone as an OL assistant. Giacalone's brother Frank was a starting OT for the Mountain Hawks on the 2010 Championship squad. Giacalone played TE for Carnegie Mellon and coached there after graduation.
Stovall will have a very mobile and energetic group of LBs to work with and Coen said he came highly recommended by Andy Talley (Villanova's HC). Not too often we have coaches from the opposing rival schools. Will have to go back and see when was the last time a grad from one school went to coach at the other.
