stadium opens in 161 days. snuck in and walked around the site. looks good. all the seats seem closer than where they currently play @ crampton bowl. most of the exterior is bricked up. they've started on the team store and resturant that are attached to the stadium.

Initial seating is 26,000 with plans to eventually expand to 55,000 as part of a $600 million campus renovation project.

all 18 suites have been sold at 20k apiece. I think seating is at 26,500 but I don't think that counts the grass berm which can bring it to 30k.

bonds. 62 million. admin said the low rates justified the finance and build instead of fund raising and delaying the start of the project. by the way, it would have taken them decades to even get close to raising the amount of contributions it would have taken to do this project. it'll be much easier to get athletic dept contributions with the stadium and other facilities already done.

I wish NDSU was allowed to use bonds for certain projects. Even athletic projects. We basically are forced to beg our alumni/boosters for any kind of new construction in athletics.
