At Delaware: Third-year player with the Blue Hens as a walk-on…hard worker who will battle with senior co-captain Mark Schenauer to replace four-year starter Zack Reed as team’s deep snapper on placements and punts…could also provide kick coverage…expected to move over to tight end this fall after playing linebacker...has played in four career games for Delaware…enjoyed a solid spring and recorded six tackles in the 2011 spring game.

2010 Season: Appeared in just one game for the Blue Hens and did not accumulate any statistics...continued to develop as a defensive player and long snapper...earned practice player of the week honors several times during the season...team went 12-3 and advanced to the FCS national title game under head coach K.C. Keeler.

2009 Season: One of seven true freshman to see action in the course of the season…saw limited snaps as a reserve linebacker and on special teams…appeared in three games late in the season vs. Towson, Navy, and Villanova…did not record any statistics…team went 6-5 for Keeler.

High School: Attended nearby St. Mark's High School where he competed for the football team and was a three-year starter and two-year captain for head coach John Wilson...played both center and linebacker...posted 117 tackles and caused two fumbles as a senior...team went 8-4 and advanced to the state semifinals his senior year...had 32 tackles in the team's two playoff games...co-winner of the Michael DeLucia Award, given annually to top Catholic League players who exemplify performance, character, and attitude...earned first team All-State honors as a senior and second team honors as a junior at linebacker...played in annual Blue-Gold High School All-Star Game at Delaware Stadium...standout wrestler and two-year captain at St. Mark's who also was a three-year letterwinner as a midfielder in lacrosse….led St. Mark’s to state team title in wrestling while winning the individual state crown in the 215 lb. class…National Honor Society…U.S. Marine Corps Student-Athlete of the Year.

Caught three passes for 67 yards in a loss to Lincoln County... Helped lead Washington-Wilkes to the Class A GHSA state playoffs and caught a 62-yard touchdown pass against Prince Avenue Christian.
