Article in the Morning Call yesterday notes HC Coen's focus on the QB situtation following Lum's graduation. The position is Colvin's to lose at this point, but Bialkowski and Poutier will be given clean shots to win the position. Colvin certainly has the physical tools to be a very good QB, just needs to gain confidence.
A number of returning linemen had off-season surgery, so this will open up a number of slots for rising sophomores and juniors to show their stuff this Spring.
A good competition is also expected in the kicking game. Four K/P's will be in camp come August as that was one area last year that was a sore spot at PK. 15 practices slated with the Brown & White game on Saturday 4/21 at 10 a.m. in Goodman Stadium followed by a Football Alumni Partnership Golf Outing with the coaching staff.
