At CCU Bennett does not put on the headsets
Both coordinators do for they call almost all of the plays.

I feel this is pretty unusual in this day and age but just curious

Biddle does NOT wear a headset, but don't think he doesn't have a hand in calling plays. He has the ear of the coordinator via a coach on the ground and will regularly say what to run in particular situations - particularly on offense.

Not sure what Coen will be doing. Lembo always had the headset on. Since his OC has come with him from Penn, and Coen was previously 'up in the box' at Franklin Field as the Quaker's OC, it will be interesting to see how he starts out, and whether he changes along the way. It's interesting to see whether HC's wear the headsets--some find them distractions from being able to get a feel for what's 'going on in a bigger picture'. Depends, I think, on how 'zeroed in' the HC is on any particular aspect of the offense or defense.

I know for a fact that Craig Bohl wears a headset (CoachComm), because I used to help set up his headset before each game.

From the games that I have seen in the past 3 seasons, all of the head coaches in the OVC wear head sets.

In fact, one of the more interesting sights during the game, aside from one real leggy photographer, is of the assistants constantly coiling or paying out the cables to the headsets.

As a microwave/radio/telecommunications engineer I normally find this fascinating - until I look at the long legged blonde again... Too bad she's not a red - head.

Joe Walton doesn't like to wear headsets. He usually will tell his defensive cordinator to relay any info up to the coaches box if he needs any clarafication. Yes, he still wears that same blue jacket for the last 10 years.
