Villanova is now using Varsity Monitor to keep tabs on players online. Its creating quite the buzz on campus among the athletes. It's certainly interesting, considering the trouble that a tweet during the playoffs caused. It will be interesting to see if more schools beginning using it as well, right now the clients appear to be Villanova, Texas, Nebraska, and UNC.

Social Media Account Monitoring
This service includes real-time monitoring of athlete’s social media accounts, using both automated and manual analysis to watch for inappropriate, illegal, or unethical content. When inappropriate content is discovered, both the administrators and coaches will be notified.
