First, I hope everyone reading this note will join me in extending kudos to all of our post-season award winners. None of us on the Hilltop were surprised to see Andrew Schaetzke named an AFCA First Team All American and the Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year. He has had a great career on the Hilltop and it was an honor well deserved. We were also pleased to have eight players selected All Patriot League first and second team, the most our program has ever seen, while Jeremiah Kayal and Wilburn Logan were named Academic All Patriot League, a sign of the great work they do on the field and in the classroom. As for the Coach of the Year honors, I see that as a staff award, and as I've said before, we are very fortunate at Georgetown to have the great staff we have in place.
