I can't remember a playoff game on Thanksgiving weekend selling out in the past. Has this occurred anywhere before?

If so then that is wonderful!

The two schools close proximity probably helped sell tickets as well.

THUMBS UP! Well done, and should make for a fantastic atmosphere.

Have to throw alot out of the window because I think NSU will be playing above capacity for this one, but I really don't see ODU losing this game...at all.

Honestly, does it really matter which game is nationally televised? ESPN could have flipped a coin. It's not like the game is on ESPN or ESPN2. It's on ESPNU.

You're talking about two schools who haven't been to these playoffs before so it is not surprising at all. Nice job just the same.

not surprising at all since ODU has had great crowds from day one.........remember,this is the 757,and they love some football. The game might be close for a half, but see ODU up 10-14 by the end.

Not surprising a Commuter School and a HBCU located in the same city would sell out a 19k stadium... GOOD JOB BRO! xpeacex

The one thing that ODU and NSU could have done differently is that they need to consider moving a potential ODU/NSU game to Price Stadium as opposed to Foreman Field. Price Stadium seats more and is more accessible as far as transportation/parking is concerned. Foreman is further out from the Tide (HRT train line) at the westernmost station (2.5 mi).
