Why so many empties?

A lot of people roam around during the game. I believe it's the same with Lafayette in that we view this weekend more as "Homecoming" rather than a on sponsored by the school. More alums come back for this game than homecoming because it also begins the Thanksgiving week, but it's also THE GAME. Secondly, a thousand or two will frequently stay at the tailgate and drink and party while watching the game, since it's televised locally. Ever since they clamped down on the drinking and enhanced security, the 'crush' of people that used to be there in the 70's has gone away. They sold about 1500 SRO tickets beyond the permenant seating. Some of the photos are also pre game and at the close. Most of Lafayette's people had left halfway through the 3rd Quarter with the score 37-0, and many arrive late due to the tailgating and security checks at the gate. Twas a great day.

Why so many empties?

I had to give my up my tix as I had to cover call for my practice, and had FCS atlantic to thank for coverage. I thought the same watching on TV, luckily, but by second quarter, each side and bowl was very full with a great looking crowd (for TV at least).

No, doc, goodman was full and the Hill packed. Parking was still going strong well into game. Mid 3rd ,started to filter out. By start of 4th Pard side basically empty. We also retired to the fetivities around then

You're to be commended for sticking that one out xsalutex. The second and third quarters had to be the most noncompetitive 30 minutes of football I've seen since the first half of the 2007 HC-Lehigh game at Goodman. Hopefully you guys will be able to put a better squad out there next year, but not too good xsmiley_wix
