The SoCon will be calculated even stronger next week after 4 SEC opponents. SOS is based on the opponent's schedule.

Well if a computer says you are good, you must be xlolx

You might have been better served to let people talk. Would suck if they proved to be right....

You are right on the mark. The strength of schedule has actually been an element with too much of an influence over the years in the GPI. It is one of the reasons why a bad team in a particular conference is rated more highly than it otherwise would be. For example, Western Carolina is ranked 90th in this week's GPI with ONE D-II win on its resume. If you are going to tell me that WCU is the 90th-best team in FCS ...

That's correct, weak:

32. SF Austin (30.29)

How would you argue that they are not? NC A&T got completely slaughtered by Appalachian State by over 50 points. They now have 4 wins though because they play in the lowly MEAC. That doesn't mean they are better. WCU has faced only ONE team with a losing record. 4-6 Citadel. What proof do you have that Western Carolina is as bad as you think?

Where would the PL rank be if you take out Fordham? After all, they're not eligible for the league title.

Not sure if you are being facetious, but Mr C follows SoCon football pretty closely.

Indeed, I'd rather just look at the computer polls themselves.

Someone actually is DEFENDING Western Carolina? The fact they just accepted the resignation of the head coach is one fact that tells you how bad the Catamounts are. WCU hasn't exactly been competititve in its games, either.

One spot up--behind the Big Sky and Ahead of the Southland. 42.55 average.
