With all the trolls, what would make you happier, a Lafayette win over Lehigh or a Western Ilinois win over NDSU?

Yea based on last year, I would always root against Lehigh too if I were a UNI fan :Dxlolx

They are both very low probability, but I would guess that Lafayette has a better chance being it's a rivalry game.

Why would I have a problem with them? 5 grudges from last year would be too many. We were lucky to be in the playoffs.

At least your team got to suit up.

And? What does that have to do with anything?

It was agreeing with your previous post that you were lucky to be in the playoffs.

They are both very low probability, but I would guess that Lafayette has a better chance being it's a rivalry game.

The fact that it's a rivalry game doesn't matter as much as you would think, considering this Lehigh (9-1) vs Lafayette (4-6):

Traditionally either side has accepted that 'records don't matter in this rivalry.' However, this is not quite the truth. The team that is three games better than the other almost always wins the game, save for a few rare instances.

When Lafayette has a three game advantage, the Leopards are 27-5-0.
When Lehigh has a three game advantage, the Hawkineers are 25-1-0.

In this week's scenario, with Lafayette coming off of a loss and Lehigh a win, Lafayette is 8-19-1.

When Lehigh has entered the game with an eight game winning streak, they are 4-1.

However, I would agree that Lafayette has a better chance than Western Illinois to come away with a win this Saturday

I am rooting for Western Illinois. If they win and we beat Illinois State we get the conference championship outright. This not only gives us the autobid, but puts us in great position to get a seed.

Despite the fact I would like to see TheFan have to be shut up I am really indifferent about the Lehigh-Lafayette game as it doesn't impact me one bit.

Albany, SBU, UNH and Maine.

Maybe having all AEast football playing teams in the playoffs will get the new Comish in gear for AEast Football.

I really don't base my feelings for a school on the actions of their fanbase. I like most of the LU fans and half the UNI fans are decent.

I am hoping Maine, UNI, Towson, Lehigh, Montana, and Sam Houston all lose - if they do GSU will grab the #2/3 seed and ASU will get the #4 seed we need those playoff games in Boone!!!
