    Lehigh Spring Preview & Prospectus

A position by position breakdown for Lehigh, a team that always seems to be in the mix for a Div I playoff berth every year, coming down to that great rivalry game against Lafayette.

Andy Coen is going to have his hands full as Lehigh goes for it's 10th straight winning season...

First off, very well done by the SID.

Second, I didn't realize how many starters Lehigh lost this year. I understand that a bunch of guys got an awful lot of PT this past year but that's a larger loss than I thought they had.

It appears we will have at least two more starters returning due to medical redshirts when they lost earlier seasons due to injury. Of significance is All-Patriot League center John Reese who will really help anchor the OL. Brannon Thomas returns at CB--but could be switched over to WR. A couple seniors on 'D' may also be granted medical returns, including LB Campion. Regardless, whoever will be starting will have had significant experience as Lehigh rotated a lot of players during the season. I don't see the 'returning' issue as any concern.
