    Badlands Bowl

Sheesh… No wonder NDSU gets all their players from Minnesota.

NDSU has 22 players from ND and 25 from MN. I think in many years, the best players do not go to this game.

The guys on Bison 1660 radio the other day said that the Montana roster had something like 14 scholarship FCS guys and North Dakota had 1 and 3 walk ons.

It's too bad the Montana schools can't turn all that high school talent into winning programs in the FCS

The older that I get, the less excited I am about all-star games at any level. Risk of injury, no real point to win the game, very much a let down from the rest of the season.

The last one that I attended was in 1990 when I had to be there to pick up the regional academic award that my team had won.

The majority of kids on the roster will continue at one of the MT NAIA schools. Around 20 out of 120 will play FCS/FBS.

Just pointed out the fact that NDSU does not get "all" of their players from MN.

Wherever NDSU has gotten the kid, they have developed them and has had a pretty impressive run the last 7 years. How many titles have the Griz won in the last seven years?

Does it really matter where NDSU gets their players? They're getting them and they're doing well with them...whether they're from ND, MN, IL, or FL.
Last I checked, they're not trying to win a state championship (pretty sure they've been the best football team in ND for quite a few years now anyway)...FCS is a national championship.
