Patrick Witt (Wylie, Texas), Yale’s senior quarterback, will be wearing his tuxedo around New York City on Dec. 6 when the National Football Foundation and Hall of Fame has its 54th annual awards dinner. Witt has been named one of the 16 scholar-athlete winners, which carries an $18,000 post-graduate scholarship, and is a finalist for the 2011 William V. Campbell Trophy, the highest academic honor bestowed on a football player.
