T-Birds confident improvement will continue

Southern Utah has managed one winning season since 2000 – and only three in the last 16 years.

So, heading into his second season as the Thunderbirds’ head coach, why is Ed Lamb optimistic?

For starters, Southern Utah took an eye-opening step forward last season.

The Thunderbirds finished 4-7 – far better than their combined record of 3-19 in their final two years under ex-coach Wes Meier.
