I've seen the same type of thing happen in corporate america a few times - a major postion leaves (former AD) and the administration quickly promotes someone from within to avoid any more major shake-ups.
I wonder if he would do a good job.
BEAR UP
THE Missouri State
With the administration structure at UNI, there won't be much for Farley to do at this point. The AD has to answer to a VP anyway so this is merely a figurehead position to make the transition between AD's as smooth as possible.
The promising aspect of this is that Farley got a raise and the school asked him to do this. This shows UNI is committed to their football team and the squabble with the AD was merely a battle of egos.
