ORLANDO, Fla. – Behind a dominant showing in doubles action and a singles court No. 5 win from Elizabeth Novak to clinch the match, the No. 8-seeded University of Richmond women's tennis team downed No. 9 George Washington, 4-1, Wednesday morning in the opening round of the 2024 Atlantic 10 Championship. With the win, the Spiders improved to 9-10 overall and will take on No. 1 VCU on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. at the USTA National Campus in Orlando.
