Announced today is that Samford is losing our defensive coordinator Chris Boone. He is headed to Troy to coach LBs there. He has worked with the new Troy HC previously at UTM. Our defense wasn't great under Boone, but it was definitely better than it had been. I guess also one has to question whether a really good defense can be expected with this offense that Hatcher runs?
