Jacksonville State at #8 is a shame. A damn shame.

They beat just ONE team with an above .500 record and lost to two teams ranked below them. They should be much closer to the 16-20 range, imo.

I just realized that the NCAA's site goofed up the poll here. They call it the FCS Coaches poll but it's identical to the STATS poll and has 155 voters (coaches poll only has about 25-30 voters IIRC).

I'll try to find the actual coach's poll and update the OP with it.

Yeah, it's not released yet. Kind of a joke that this poll is considered an "official tool" of the selection committee when they don't even release it until after the brackets are out. I don't recall if that's been the case in the past (I don't think it has been) but it also makes it a little unfair for my "which poll most accurately reflects the selection committee" comparison if Coach's poll voters vote during and after the bracket is released.

Finally found the updated coach's poll for week 12 and updated the first 2 posts. They got 12 out of 14 at-large, 6-8 seeds, and were way off on the seed lines so basically did the worst of the 3 polls. I'll have the comparison of all 3 up shortly.
