This Saturday is a HUGE weekend in the SWAC as far as the divisional races and the race for the conference title. Two-Time defending Champion Grambling State will Prairie View in the State Fair Classic at the Cotton Bowl and 4 time Eastern Division Champ Alcorn State will visit Southern for their Homecoming. PV new head coach Eric Dooley was the OC at Grambling for the previous 4 seasons and the rivalry between Grambling and Prairie View intensified when Dooley left for rival Prairie View. Southern is expected to compete for the Western Division title of the conference but they're 1-6 against Alcorn in the last seven meetings.
