Cal Poly’s offense has eight players who started at least four games last fall or in previous years. On defense, three veteran linebackers are back and the secondary is loaded with seven players who have plenty of experience under their belt. The defensive line? That’s a different story. It is possible that the starting three down linemen on Sept. 1 at top-ranked North Dakota State could include one true freshman and a pair of redshirt freshmen.
