Rock subsurface going down. Getting closer to laying the padding and the turf.

that sucks! Any legit reasons as to why the project has yet to get off the ground?

Richmond is supposed to be adding another level of luxury suites at Robins Stadium, as well as a new suite of offices. Both would go below the current level of suites and offices on both sides of the stadium. There is a bunch of work on new locker rooms and training facilities, but those are inside the adjacent Robins Center.

DFW knows better than I do.

But from what I understand, Georgetown lost some major pledge funding for the project after the 2007-08 crash.

Guys on the Ivy FB Board said that Yale was going to install Field Turf at the Yale Bowl. The grass just looked awful last season...

Now word is that it's not happening.

A shame. Yale installed Field Turf at its baseball field--which is every bit as historic as the Bowl--and it looks really good.

Because they never intended to build it in the first place.

Yale Bowl really is a cool stadium. I would love for JMU to play there. Don't see it happening though.

Niceee, that would look awesome. Truly a beautiful stadium, just needs a few more seats on the away side
