Josh Mack is attending Monroe Community College. When he asked to leave U Maine they pulled his scholarship and his GPA was 1.9 making him ineligible to transfer. The Mack family is currently appealing for J Mack to finish his winter semester at Maine. Dumb move mack family. ODU rejects Mack
Reason number one why I am a bandwagon fan: the Ivy League football teams are not playing at their best nationally.
Reason number two why I am a bandwagon fan: there is no chance that the Ivies will be in the Road to Frisco in our lifetimes.
Reason number three why I am a bandwagon fan: there are some schools that do participate in that Road that are underrepresented here, and I appreciate their being committed to football...

Wow a student athlete is trying to transfer with a 1.9 GPA? He's not likely going to end up at a school higher up the CFB food chain then Maine.

As long as he pulls that 1.9 up to a 2.3 he'll be fine to transfer this summer to another institution to be eligible. Since his goal was to play at the FBS level he was sitting out in 2018 regardless so it'll be a redshirt year for him wherever he lands and he'll be a scout team RB so missing spring ball won't hurt him really. Word of advice to other guys thinking of leaving without a degree from their current school to play at a higher level make sure your grades are in order before pulling the I want to transfer card out because they'll pull that scholarship immediately for the following semester to bring in a mid year transfer/signee..

We are back in coach-hunting mode for the 3rd time this off-season. Apparently WCU has picked up Tripp Weaver, our cornerback coach and recruiting coordinator; good get as our secondary was lights out last year. CB had 16 picks w/Rashad Robinson 3rd in the country on his way to AA honors.

UNH is also in coach hunting mode, in need of an OC and safeties coach/recruiting coordinator, as both left this off-season.

UNH hired former Fordham DC John Bowes as their Safeties Coach and Bobby Callahan is still there as Recruiting Coordinator. They do have to make a decision on who will be the Offensive Coordinator. They have one offensive assistant coaching position open.

I wish Nova was hunting for coaches. Alas, we’re not. Sigh.

JMU hires its last assistant for next season (hopefully). CB Coach Corico Wright.

He held the same position for the last two years at Murray State and is a former player and grad assistant at Clemson.
