HBCU football never left Charlotte. Johnson C. Smith plays 5 to 6 games a year at home.
I'd rather have WSSU in Durham. The money better be right on this one.

Snicker.
I imagine this game would probably bring about 10-20k fans out to BOA maybe even 35k depending on the weather. Old CIAA foes on the gridiron again seems like a win-win for both schools and WSSU should walk away with a nice pay day without having to spend the night on Friday or Saturday. I know in D2 if a road trip is less than 2 hours PSAC schools travel the same day and don't waste money on lodging they just have a team breakfast or lunch (if night game) and have a team dinner after the game and head back to school. Not sure if the CIAA does the same thing even though their athletic budgets seem to be on par with our conference.
If it's less than 30K it's wasting our time. WSSU can come to Durham for a 10K game.
