Explosion. I would say it's pretty decent test. Run blocking or bullrushing is pretty similar. Instead of seeing how far you can go in a game you're launching yourself into your opponent. For RBs and LBs it should give you a hint to how fast they can explode to say a hole or the ball carrier.

Anyone can do all the tests, but QBs physical skills aren't nearly as important as other positions. The wonderlic on the other hand is IMO pretty important for QBs but not so much for other positions.

Justin Vogel Punter from Miami had the fastest 40 of the punters. Does that matter? Not really. Maybe he'll get down the field a little faster but they are the safety net that usually can't tackle anyway.
