Mercer may have the toughest FCS Schedule this year

Mercer plays in the second toughest FCS league and then also plays Alabama and Auburn.

If that doesn't qualify as pretty close to the toughest schedule, it'll do till a tougher one comes

It's manufactured difficulty though. They have no chance to beat Alabama and Auburn. Those are nothing more than paycheck games. I have much more respect for teams that go out and play other quality FCS programs in the non-conference. EWU and UNI seem to do that better than anyone.
