They came on strong after the near upset of UCONN and probably had they come away with a win over New Hampshire in the final regular season game they'd probably been a playoff team at 7-4 with a near loss at FBS UCONN and their only league losses coming to Nova & JMU. Maine has a Florida transfer, Max Staver, 6'5" 240, who threw the ball well in their first scrimmage. Still early to tell if he is starter but he has the lead for now.
