Bumping this thread up with an update:

Ex-FCS and now Slum Belch member South Alabama has scheduled 2 HBCUs (Jackson State and Grambling) and WIU for 2019, 2021 and 2022 respectively.

Ivy League Football: Since the latter half of the 20th century, slowly self-destructing to become irrelevant in the scene that they used to dominate, not too many fans among the younger generations, rusting their potentials in the process.
Before, I liked a lot about Harvard football. Now, not so much. They are the main perpetrators of why Ivy League football has lost its popularity and it may never go back to what it used to be.

That would be a miracle considering when ODU was a FCS member even being across town less than 15 minutes away the crowds were closer to 12k than 20k.

    Re: Future Schedules

McNeese started sending out messages that there was going to be a big announcement at 9AM this morning. I'm thinking maybe the announcement of a big donation, of new turf for the stadium, or that someone bought the naming rights for the new on campus basketball arena that is under construction.

The "big news" that was announced was just a football game scheduled with Southern in 2019. Not that I don't want to play them and the game will probably fun, but I was a little underwhelmed with the announcement considering what my speculation of what it might be were.

Hosting Southern should be the biggest attended game of the 2019 season for McNeese. I would venture to say it should draw about 15-17k fans.

Probably will be more than that. Grambling in 2002 was 20,300.

    Actually,

It will draw 21,000 plus. The Fire Marshals will force us to stop ticket sales around that point.
