Doak Walker List Snubs

Today the list came out and it had Marcus Cox of App State. He's a very good player and worthy but not worthy of being on it ahead of David Johnson or Zach Zenner. I'm not dissing Cox but thought I would mention that FCS players often get snubbed. They put on the FBS transfers who aren't really the best player or forget some of them completely. Glad to see Cox on there, as I'm sure SoCon folks would agree. Just happen to think he would have been behind Zenner and Johnson and they were left off.

I think several FCS players have been snubbed because of it. Here are the names I would have put on if I was asked to give them FCS nominations.

We all know that there should not be 100 FCS players on those lists, heck not even 30 or 35, but when a deserving player comes along they should be considered. I would not expect all 16 of them but they do deserve. I would be happy to see just 6 to 9 of these guys on it.
