Samford senior quarterback Andy Summerlin did not take the normal path to Samford that most students take. He didn't sign with the Bulldogs out of high school and come to the school as a freshman, or even after a year or two at a junior college. Summerlin's story has a few more twists and turns than the usual student at Samford.
