Week 1 the NEC goes 4-2 in OOC games!
Great week for the NEC!
RMU and CCSU were outmanned and outclassed by full scholly teams. But they weren't embarrassed.
Sacred Heart takes care of business at Marist.
A nice 2 game home sweep of the Patriot League. Bryant takes down Holy Cross and Wagner tops Georgetown.
And a very nice win by Duquesne over a quality, but not full scholly CAA team in Albany.
NEC fans should be very happy with the results so far.
All good wins for NEC teams and the two teams who went down played decent against some top tier teams. Probably one of the better week 1's for the NEC, ever.
Bryant Bulldogs (23rd Season)
All-time Record: 130-120 (93-78)
2022 Record: 4-7 (2-3)
Yep, good wins and tough losses. Nice wins vs. Albany, Holy Cross, and Georgetown while the leagues losses came on the road to two top-20 teams - at #15 JMU and at #19 EKU.

I watched the end of the Bryant game. I was impressed with their poise under pressure.
Good for the NEC this week, however next week won't so lucky vs the PL unfortunately
So sad not to see Monmouth in the conversation anymore, Good luck to all the teams in the NEC this year!
Play the rules, Don't let the rules Play you. When a system repeatedly fails. Do we go to the core of the drills we teach and practice? When it costs crucial touchdowns or first downs?
Duquesne and Wagner need to put more fans in the stands.
