I appreciate the fact that you hold 18 and 19 year olds to higher standards of economic decision-making than the universities themselves. xrolleyesx
You do realize there are a ton of similarities between chess and football strategy? A human coach vs. a computer coach in a football game. We'd both take the computers all day -- even over Bear...
With 24 teams this year, I imagine it's possible to have a team with 6 wins, especially if the likes of ODU, Georgia Southern, and App State are not in the playoffs this year. Also imagine how many...
The greatest chess player in the world is a "brainless" computer. Bow to your master.
Plus he gets to hang out with the former CEO of TD Ameritrade. I'd say his stock is rising.
I didn't say anything about computers or strength of schedule. I said classifying wins based upon Division. Should I have been clearer and said classifying wins solely based upon Division?
Western Illinios kicker Pat Smith transferred to Nebraska. He's not on the Western Illinois roster.
Weird story about him going to be a Husker in USA Today...
It doesn't seem intelligent to classify wins differently based upon Division level. Not only does this reinforce stereotypes and existing biases, it makes the FCS look stupid.
We are counting wins...
I bet the result is that some more men's golf or wrestling or tennis teams get cut, so that we can have disabled sports, too.
Finally some good pub for the NEC with former Bryant tight end presenting Heisman Trophy-winner Johnny Football with the CFPA National Freshman of the Year Award.

Big South does make the most sense with Stony Brook departing for the CAA. You've got to keep your membership up to keep the conference going.
Terrible PR for the school. It's already got a great reputation, so it's shameful to see a manufactured 20 pts score difference when it doesn't make that big of a difference.
In 2014, there will also be a 4-team playoff in the FBS. I'm assuming Charlotte would be eligible.

Looks like another toy for Johnny Football
In related news, coaches would also be allowed to transfer if their players' average GPA was 2.6......Wait......:p
Eastern Washington (Big Sky), Georgia Southern (SOCON), Sam Houston State (Southland), Towson (CAA) on the short list of favorites here.
Montana State (Big Sky) and Appalachian State (SOCON) on the...
Tip: They listen with their wallets not their inboxes.
I'm all for raining down fury on the 3 and 4 letter entertainment corporatist-propaganda hamsters, but let's not be so delusional to think sending a tweet at them is anything more than a pitiful plea...
They (Georgia Southern) have Dominique Swope who is one the best young backs in the nation.
And so is a player from Valpo apparently: Jake Huston
xlolx
There is got to be a better way to list the teams than in the Joe Lunardi format. Where does Stony Brook rank if they don't get an AQ? That is the most burning question, IMO. If the predictions are...
Citadel DT Derek Douglas tore his ACL in mid March. Some thought he would not be able to play until the final game of the season or maybe not at all....
