It's possible for something to have more than one contributing factor, i.e. he's been playing better defenses AND has an injury to his hand that is detrimental to his performance.

11-0 as a starter and playing for a national title. Perfectly happy with those results.
And I think he means busted up hand, according to the article posted on eGriz.
Depends. Is SDSU dealing with flu and covid outbreaks while playing at 7,200'?
Montana already holds that distinction, and this would not surpass 1995. Also, why aren't you bringing up the fact that SDSU barely got by MSU, a team UM crushed, and had a relatively close game...
You guys were taking endzone shots with 2 minutes left in the game Friday. There was a less than zero chance of Albany staging a miraculous comeback.
They didn't cover that spread against MSU or Nova, so at the very least they can and do play like dog**** sometimes, or they aren't as good as running up the score against Albany made them look.
Great game Bizon. All time classic!
Probably. But answer me this: was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?
And none of the previous games have any bearing on what happens tomorrow.
Dunno. People buying the hype after blowing out an overrated USD? Combined with a narrow Griz win over 7 seed Furman, who at full strength were really 2 or 3 seed quality.
Residing in Bozeman must **** with your head if you're feeling anything resembling jealousy towards the cats right now. xlolx
This is pretty much where I'm at. Should be a memorable one and a great showcase for FCS regardless of outcome.
This is the furthest we've been since 2011 (or 2009, if you want to be technical). I think the job is his for as long as he wants it win or lose.
Going to be a hell of a battle and a frenzied crowd. Griz have two starting OL who suited up against Furman but didn't play hopefully coming back. We'll see if that's enough...xeekx
Hats off to the Dins. At the risk of pointing out the obvious, this one could have easily gone the other way.
Outside of two big plays, Montana's defense is dominating Furman’s offense, period.
It's hereditary. The confederates thought they were favorites as well.
You must be trolling. There's just no other explanation.
NAU finished 5-6, Wofford 2-9, with one of those wins over a winless team. If you can’t bring yourself to argue in good faith, I'm afraid we're done here. Good luck on Friday.xthumbsupx
You can repeat it until you turn blue, but not a single person here is buying it..
But moving on, what is your proposed solution to this perceived problem? Montana isn't allowed to host games if...
Seriously? You're one step away from invoking Godwin's law here.xlolx Bottom line, if Furman wanted to play in balmy conditions, they shouldn't have lost to Wofford or scheduled a bodybag/paycheck...
So since they and CC managed to win in the adverse conditions that you've already been whining about, I trust that you won't use them as an excuse when the inevitable happens on Friday?
Meh, at least Wofford was a playoff team that year. You lost to them when their only previous win was against *checks notes* 0-11 The Citadel. xlolx
Save your tears for after the game. xrolleyesx
