I think CSU will roll Liberty this weekend and make this discussion moot. Bucs win by at least two TDs.

Good memory jogger ...
Places I've covered games in the FCS:
Liberty
Coastal Carolina
Gardner-Webb
Charleston Southern
Presbyterian
Stony Brook
VMI
Lehigh
The JMU-Maryland game had nothing to do with Liberty scheduling Brevard. Stony Brook leaving the Big South and leaving most league teams with a late scheduling hole did. LU approached Brevard about...
Alabama A&M, Elon, Chowan, Howard, Hampton, Delaware State, Florida A&M, Morgan State. That's who North Carolina A&T has beaten. Being 8-2 doesn't automatically get you in.
I'm pretty sure as long as you pour it in a cup, you'll be fine. Though I don't ever tailgate there so I wouldn't know for sure.
So, just trying to figure this out. NAU wins the Big Sky autobid if it wins out, right, just because of that win over EWU? They didn't play either ISU or MSU, the other teams that could tie them. So...
Bethune-Cookman did not play Florida State. It played UCF. Kind of a big difference between the two.
That is correct.
Thanks for that catch. They were supposed to be in the eliminated section of the OVC, at least from at-large consideration.
The plan is to start that next week. We'll have a lot more clarity after some of this weekend's games, especially in the SoCon, Southland and Big South.
You know what, you're right. I went back and eliminated the unnecessary snark and added that the MEAC has only received at-larges twice in the four years since the field was expanded.
Just an oversight on William & Mary. Sorry about that. It's been fixed. Thanks everyone for reading.
This thing is total trash. I'm embarrassed to be on the poll board.
We did just get an e-mail saying to be careful with your vote, i.e., putting the wrong team in a spot because it's next to another similar school on the pulldown menu. That has to be the explanation...
St. Francis played Virginia University of Lynchburg (VUL), not Lynchburg College. LC doesn't have a football team.
I had Missouri State on my ballot at 22. I did not have Albany or Delaware on mine.
Don't kill all of us writers. For instance, of the Big South voters, I'm the only one who doesn't work at a school or in the conference office. Lots of lots of SIDs and radio people on the poll list.
You know, we have enough problems with credibility in this poll. And then some jackass goes and gives Indiana State a 25th-place vote. It's not cute. It's stupid. Do better.
Hunt wasn't even on the ballot. I would have voted for him.
The one time I saw Riddick play I was completely unimpressed. Probably just an off day, though.
The only reason I think Liberty has any shot would be due to the four-game win streak (over crap teams, of course), which would be five with a win over a 10-win team, and a co-conference championship...
Only if a crap ton of other teams lose. It's the longest of long shots.
SE Louisiana, which destroyed McNeese in Lake Charles and is undefeated in the Southland, is two spots below McNeese. That's ridiculous.
I think UNH is a lock if it beats Maine.
Looking at TSN's projections ... South Carolina State? Really? I know the committee seems to love them some MEAC, but SCSU's only win over a team with a...
Even Carroll McCray said he appreciate the recognition at 4-1, but his team had a long, long way to go.
The Wofford win was a fluke. No disputing that. You hate to make weather excuses for games,...
CSU won't get an at-large bid, even with an 11-2 record. No meat on the schedule. The only way they get in is if they run the table the rest of the way.
