NORTH Alabama......
UNA AD said they were willing to play NDSU again, but NDSU couldn't put together more schools and basically said no....
4 games in the fall should not count as a "season"... it should just count as exhibition games, because that all it will be...
The coaches and ADs dont even really know what is going on to tell the players. I know at UNA, the athletic department is just as frustrated as the players.
My point is, it may be a way fg or schools to keep football afloat having a few home games, maybe.
Playoffs are more than likely out of the question anyway.
If all, or most conferences suspended or canceled football, would the NCAA allow schools to play as independent only for 1 season?
For example, if there is a couple of schools in each conference...
Seriously...
I know the presidents of the schools in the Ivy League says no to the playoffs, but how do the majority of the fans feel about not going? Would Ivy fans and Alumni rather see them in...
Who would we drop? Maybe Dixie State? That would make the most sense, but we have a home and home with them.
Am I mis counting? Or does that make 13 games for UNA in 21?
The ASUN commissioner posted on his Twitter account that he has been interviewed by HBCUgameday. At the time of posting this, it has not released yet. The ASUN currently has no HBCU schools. What...
The Big South already has 12. If the ASUN goes after any, they should have football (ASUN big South agreement) and be relatively close to other ASUN schools, (Howard and Norfolk State would be okay,...
Just thinking who the ASUN may go after if the MEAC further unravels.
Its gonna be real bad for the MEAC if Howard and Norfolk State decide to join the ASUN with football in the Big South....
They want to join the SWAC... that's obvious.
If the SWAC doesn't take them, they will ask the ASUN for help, if the ASUN accepts them, football would be in the Big South.
Dont think it's going to mater much...
There absolutely wouldn't be in this instance. Unless they have some major problems with the SoCon... (and I'm not saying they do)
I dont think Liberty and Bellarmine is a problem.
We all have known NJIT was going to leave, it was just a matter of when. And there is no reason either party needed to stay together.
Liberty...
The UAC, in it proposed form, will not be able to happen now. NJIT has joined the American East, which puts a wrench in the UAC plans...
I like the idea of championship games as well, if you have 10 or more schools in your conference.
And no.... you do not need 3 weeks.
Especially in the MVFC, the two playing in the...
That cant be ideal for the OVC...
That's interesting...
Elon wants out of the CAA??
Could conference championship games work in FCS?
Why or why not...
Second tier my ass
