A very impressive streak. All it takes is one clunker to get shut out.
It got me thinking about when was the last time NDSU got shut out....November 20th 2010 at Missouri State 3-0.

Was it one of those games where if the 50 was the goal line it would have been a low scoring game

Kind of. Low scoring Big Sky game:D MSU crossed the 50 6 times and NDSU crossed the 50 3 times.

That's impressive. I just went back to check, Nova's only been shutout 4 times in the FCS era (1985), the most recent of which came last year against Richmond. Our defense has had 16 shut outs in that span.

Also impressive for Dayton is the fact that they have had only one losing season in that same time frame. There are a couple schools that rival that but still an impressive factoid. Important to note that they have only been Div I for 24 of those 41 years. But pretty flashy record in any event.

In that same timeframe, Georgetown has been shut out 18 times and had just 14 shutouts, but only one shutout win since 2001. If you've seen the Hoyas' record, that's probably not surprising.

Without looking, I seem to remember it was a 19-0 win over Holy Cross in September 2010.
