Somehow Youngstown missed the Conde Nast top 20 destinations, but was first on this list. If by some great misfortune you find yourself in "the yo", make sure you've had your hepatitis series and wear titanium condoms if partaking in the local nightlife.

Agreed. I've never been to a game there or actually even real close to SSU's campus, but my parents love to go there, usually rent a cottage out on Tybee Island and spend a week in the area. We've gone down there with them a few times and really enjoyed it. Savannah is a beautiful city.
Somewhat unrelated, but hey...it's the offseason. My family just got back from a trip to Disney World. We drove down, so it kinda felt like a "tour of FCS teams" with the route we were taking. We were pretty close to SIU, Austin Peay, Tennessee State, UT-Chattanooga, Kennesaw State, Mercer, and passed by one campus (not the main one) of Murray State.
Not sure what was going on there, but we went past UTC's stadium on Saturday night on the way down (3/10) and they had the lights on, which kinda lit up all of Chattanooga due to the rain and fog.
Also went past an FBS that many FCS's could take down (Georgia State) and a DII that for a while could probably have taken down most of the FCS (Valdosta State).
The Bison have 4 away games this year. I've been to UNI, USD and WIU before but Missouri State will be my first time. Hear it is a nice stadium and looking forward to seeing it.
Does UNI still have "Hells Bells" as it's entrance song?
have for a few decades. Will for a few more.
Since we added the video board we’ve tied hype videos to the song. This is the one from like 2 years ago. This is what plays on the video board. Kind of cool how it leads into it

Bucknell is an easy drive and the stadium is nice in spite of the track. I like going to Colgate (before November) and connect with my old coach, Fred Dunlap. Holy Cross is an interesting trip as we usually include a night in Boston. Laughyette is not a trip as I live only four miles from Fisher. Fordham is a pain in the azz due to traffic, but I like watching the game in Coffey. G'town facilities make what could be a great trip, an exercise.
Western Carolina. Proximity of Cherokee and beautiful mountains with trout streams make this my choice by FAR.
Call me patriotic, I love VMI and The Citidel March/Parade. Food in Charleston is the bomb. The ride to the former FCS “the rock” is breathtaking.
Yankee Stadium :)
I live in the Bronx so Fordham obvious winner closely followed by Lafayette and Lehigh. Both pleasant road trips on a Saturday morning and like both venues very much.
