Portland State safety DeShawn Shead has been named the Big Sky Conference co-Defensive Player of the Week after his performance in a 29-20 Viking win over Sacramento State. Shead made a game-high eight tackles, one sack, a pass breakup and intercepted a Sacramento State pass in the fourth quarter to seal the win.
