Winners of three straight, including a 20-10 triumph over previously third-ranked Appalachian State last Saturday, the Furman Paladins are positioned to secure a bid to the NCAA Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) playoffs, but one big challenge remains in the form of the Elon Phoenix, which Furman will entertain this Saturday in the Paladins’ home regular season finale. Kickoff is set for 1:30 p.m. at Paladin Stadium.
