The SWAC Champion Alabama State women's cross country team will compete in the NCAA South Regional, the Hornet men's and women's basketball teams make their debuts early this week with home exhibition games leading into regular season openers later this week, and the men's golf team plays its final fall tournament at Arkansas-Pine Bluff. The women's volleyball team plays its regular season finale at Alabama A&M, the bowling team will compete in the Valparaiso Tournament, and the gridiron Hornets host Southern in their final conference game of the season.
