UTSA at McNeese State

TT's Quick Analysis and Predictions
Northwestern State at Sam Houston State - This game is for all the marbles, at least for SHSU. A SHSU win would give the team an outright SLC title for first time in school history. SHSU has been dominating in running right over the SLC. This is a big one and it will be business as usual. A shame NWST lost to UCA. SAM HOUSTON STATE

Texas State-San Marcos at Central Arkansas - The Bears are playing with a purpose. Big win at NWST last week and UCA is still within grasp of a playoff spot. They have to win this one and I do not think it will be a problem on their homefield. CENTRAL ARKANSAS

Lamar at Nicholls State - Guess we'll save the battle of winless teams for next week when Nicholls faces Southeastern. Nicholls has been less than impressive and even though it is a road game, Lamar has certainly shown a bit more life this year (though hard to tell you what they have shown the last few weeks!). LAMAR

Southeastern Louisiana at Stephen F. Austin - Southeastern will be heading into the final week of the SLC season looking for a win, because going to SFA is not an easy trip by any means. The Lions failed to capitalize on several opportunities against SHSU this past week and you can't do that on the road. STEPHEN F. AUSTIN

UTSA at McNeese State - UTSA's lone Div I win this year came against a Georgia State team that has struggled against non-Div I foes. Playing the Pokes in 'The Hole' will be a good thing for UTSA to experience, but it'll likely be another loss to experience. McNEESE STATE

From what I'm hearing, just show up for the game - LOL!

The Demons must have a strong defensive effort and cannot collapse on special teams for this game. In the game with Central Arkansas, the Bears forced two crucial special team fumbles by the Demons that resulted in 14 immediate points. Do this again, and 14 points might be enough for Sam to win this game.

On offense, we can't allow a collapse like we did also against the Bears. Our offense also gave up a TD from an interception on the last play of the game. The first half, we were moving very well. At the half, Conque made adjustments that we were not prepared for and we couldn't move the ball an inch after that. I would love to know what was said at halftime in the UCA locker room to make that much of a difference.

In a nutshell, defense didn't lose the game for us although UCA move the ball well, especially in the 2nd half. Special teams and offense were the weak points for us along with non-coaching adjustments to match UCA. If we are even to have a remote chance against SHSU, we can't have mistakes on the special teams or offense. Our defense will play well regardless, that has been the one stable thing all season.

None...I'd be surprised if our team showed up knowing our season is over...but then again I'm not playing or coaching, thank god.

Agree with GeauxLions94. Plus, I always agree with The Rev. Oops, except for that $25 lapse.

I think Lamar gets a win in Thibodaux and thinking/hoping the Bears will beat TXst.
I'd love an upset in Huntsville but thats gonna be tough.
