Ill post the answer later today. It is sports related. But has nothing to do with stats.

I haven't seen SHSU play, but they must have a good defense to be 9-0.

bump, any guesses from SHSU fans?

Unrelated parties would have a very low chance of getting the answer im looking for.

I don't know about SHSU, but our fans are starting obnoxious threads that the rest of the country doesn't care about?? You know kind of like App St did during their run, etc. Could that be it??

This is true, but not it either. :p This thread is only obnoxious if you want it to be. You can very easily choose not to participate.

Shouldn't it be "What do NDSU and SHSU share..." ?

Hints it involves sports but not stats. It is not unique to this year. Several other colleges share it in common however, I believe NDSU and SHSU and Yale and possibly UND(unclear on this one) are the only ones at the FCS level.

Now you got me interested in this....I think we need more hints (ex. is it football related or other sports?).

I would say women's hockey, but the SHSU throws that one out.

What does Yale have that's sports related, not related to stats and we should think of ugly women and men with inhalers....and NDSU and Sam Houston are the only other FCS schools that also have it....

Something to do with the marching band? Color guard?

Is it related to the melody of the song where the students always sing "beer beer-beer beer-beer beer beer..."? Is that also NDSU's fight song? lol

The song is also performed after every NDSU Bison football and basketball victory by the North Dakota State University Gold Star Marching Band and Bison Pep Band.

In Heaven There is No Beer is played after every football and basketball game at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. A game just isn't complete until the song is played.

The song is frequently played by the Yale Precision Marching Band with the added verse: "At Harvard there is no ale (No ale?!) / That's why we go to Yale / And when our livers fail / We'll still be glad we went to Yale"

I think UND also plays it at hockey games.
