Can't say that I see anyone but ndsu getting a higher seed than maine.

Most of these continue to have Lehigh going to Maine. I concede that Maine is viewed as a higher team among the unseeded and in the polls. My question is does Maine get the home game over Lehigh given the current system.

Since LU is 10 min and Maine might be 10 hrs and 10 degrees, I have a distinct preference.

I can't think of one scenario is which GSU is a higher seed than ASU with ASU losing another game. If ASU loses one more game they will not be a seed and currently they'd be ahead of GSU.

Under this scenario you have Furman beating ASU.

As for Maine currently they're ranked behind quite a few teams, including all five seeded teams above.

Lib/JMU is a rematch so won't happen...still amazed people do this....

Switch Liberty and Norfolk St and should be ok

Maine still has three tough CAA games left. There's no guaranteed win for any of them.

I don't think there is a rule saying a rematch can't happen. They just don't want another conference game.

In 2005, Montana played Cal Poly in a first round rematch. They've done it before.

They generally try not to set up rematches (in conference or out of conference) when they set the first round matchups I would think. Now if the way things shake out you have a matchup down the line then that is workable

As noted by the poster above me there are exceptions if regionally allowable

Won't matter anyway, JMU is not making the playoffs. We will have a max of 1 win over a playoff team, and that's only if Liberty wins the Big South (which I expect, not a given though). Even beating URI is not a guarantee, we will need to work hard to finish with a winning record.

EKU has their playoff destiny in their own hands with home games against TTU and UT-Martin to finish the season.
