Probably not a big deal where smaller town papers dutifully cover I-AA teams, but the DC press all but swore off Georgetown and Howard coverage many years ago in an effort to sell subscriptions to Virginia Tech and Navy fans in the suburbs.

Two articles in a week is practically unheard of in a market where non-stop Redskins coverage takes a break for, oh, about three weeks in March.

Shouldn't be too much of a problem. Verizon has Jackie Chiles on the case. He ought to be able to quash any future coverage of Hoya football. All will be well.

Excellent...especially the Post article. Underscores the reality that sport is just as much mental as physical.

Georgetown, Towson, ODU, Indiana State, Portland State

There are lots of good FCS stories this year. The landscape seems to be shifting.

Nice articles, GU deserves all the kudos it gets for its achievements this season. DFW ,please understand ,while the thought occurs to me, that next season all GU exemptions are off, no more pity and shaking of heads for poor Hoyas. You will be treated with the appropriate amount of loathing by your PL brethren. Congratulations
